Watch George, Charlotte & Louis Adorably Applaud Health Care Workers

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are rooting for the medical workers who are braving the COVID-19 crisis.

In a rare, adorable video posted to Kensington Palace’s Twitter account, all three royal children — George, 6, Charlotte, 4, and 23-month-old Louis — appear all smiles while clapping in unison for the healthcare professionals in the United Kingdom who have been toiling amid the pandemic. “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you. #ClapForOurCarers #ClapForNHS,” Kensington Palace captioned the video shared Thursday (March 26).

The chipper footage comes in light of the royal family being personally impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. As Clarence House revealed, Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus, whereas his wife, Camila — who is self-isolating in Scotland — tested negative. “He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home through the last few days as usual,” reads the statement.

Regarding how the 71-year-old royal contracted the virus, the statement added, “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”

The coronavirus pandemic has also prompted Princess Beatrice to reconsider her spring wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi — originally slated for May 29 — to “avoid undertaking any unnecessary risks” given the current circumstances.
