The premiere date for The Kissing Booth 3 has finally been revealed.
While accepting her People's Choice Award winner for Comedy Movie Star of 2020 on Sunday (November 15), Joey King shared some major news about the third installment in the Kissing Booth series. "I told myself if I won, I would share an exiting piece of news with everybody," King said in her acceptance speech. "Kissing Booth 3, our final installment, is going to be released in summer 2021."
While King didn't share an exact premiere date, fans of the rom-com franchise at least have a general time period to look forward to. The second installment, Kissing Booth 2, premiered on Netflix back in July of this year.
Shortly after the second Kissing Booth film dropped on Netflix over the summer, the streaming platform revealed the third movie has actually already been filmed. The third movie was filmed simultaneously with the second one. King called filming both movies at the same time "the hardest secret to keep ever."
In a teaser for the third and final movie, King's character Elle can be seen rejecting a call from the Harvard admissions office while hanging out with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Flynn. Are you excited to see what's in store for these two in the third film
