Could Dolly Parton reveal one of the songs from her highly-anticipated rock album at the 58th annual ACM Awards?

Parton is set to host the upcoming show — hailed as “Country Music’s Party of the Year” — with another global superstar, Garth Brooks, the Academy of Country Music announced on Wednesday morning (March 29).

She said in a statement, in part, that she’s “excited to have the chance to premiere the lead single from my upcoming rock album on the show!”

Parton is gearing up to release a star-studded rock album. The legendary country artist previously shared that Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, John FogertySteve Perry and Steven Tyler are included on the list of iconic artists who will be featured on the project.

The album comes after Parton was inducted info the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Parton initially tried to withdraw her name from consideration when she was nominated, explaining that she didn’t “feel that I have earned that right.” Parton also said she didn’t “want votes to be split (from other nominees) because of me.”

The Rock Hall, however, released a statement confirming that Parton would still be considered. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation explained in a statement that the country genre and Parton’s music “impacted a generation of young fans and influenced countless artists that followed. …We are in awe of Dolly’s brilliant talent and pioneering spirit and are proud to have nominated her for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.”

Parton, who promised to accept her Rock Hall induction gracefully (and said she would “continue to work hard and try to live up to the honor”), hinted last year that the induction could inspire her to record a rock album. Though the Academy of Country Music has yet to confirm any 58th annual ACM Awards performers as of publication time on Wednesday morning, it appears possible that Parton could share the first track from the highly-anticipated project.

“I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth,” Parton, a recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, gushed in a statement. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together. In addition to getting to see all this great new talent in country music, I am excited to have the chance to premiere the lead single from my upcoming rock album on the show!”

The 58th ACM Awards will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. It’s set for Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/5 p.m. PT.
