Reba McEntire shared her reaction to images generated by Artificial Intelligence that have apparently been circulating on social media.

McEntire’s statement on Thursday afternoon (October 9) arrives one day after fellow country legend Dolly Parton shared a video of her own to address rumors about her health. Parton, 79, said an AI-generated photo depicts McEntire, 70, “at my death bed, and we both look like we need to be buried. I thought, ‘oh, my Lord!’” Another AI image depicts McEntire making pregnancy announcement. McEntire said as she shared her reaction in a video posted on Instagram that the two country stars are “too young to die, (and) too old for babies.”

“You tell ‘em, Dolly,” McEntire said. “That AI mess has got us doing all kind of crazy things. You’re out there dying. I’m out here having a baby. Well, both of us know you’re too young and I’m too old for any of that kind of nonsense. But you better know I’m praying for you, I love you with all my heart, and I can’t wait to see you soon. Love you.”

Parton said, in part, that she “wanted to put everybody’s mind at ease,” when she addressed rumors about her health on Wednesday. “I wanted you to know that I’m not dying. …There’s just a lot of rumors flying around, but I figured if you heard it from me, you’d know that I was OK.”

McEntire shared Parton’s video on her Instagram story and said “I love you, [Dolly Parton]! See you soon.” Watch both clips below.
