AMC has announced that "The Walking Dead" as we know it will end after season 11. The show was forced to stop production for season 10 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The final season will be 24 episodes split between 2021 and 2022.
Two spinoffs will continue. One featuring two of the original surviving cast members Carol (Melissa McBride) and Darryl Dixon (Norman Reedus.) The other will be an anthology series.
