Video: UK Man Rushed The Queen's Casket To "Check For Himself"

Queen Elizabeth II has officially been laid to rest, but a Westminster Court heard testimony from a man arrested for rushing the casket. He didn't believe she was dead.

Muhammed Khan testified in court the he was "Trying to speak to the Queen" and didn't believe she was dead. Khan pushed a young girl out of the way, while the Queen's casket lay in state, and tried rushing up to touch the casket. Mr. Khan, 28, said he planned before to go to the royal residence and "try to make contact" with the monarch.

He believes that "King Charles has something to do with it and may go to Windsor Castle to pay his respects, but also because he still thinks she is alive," he told doctors who evaluated his competency for the court.

It was found that he suffers from delusional thought and wasn't fit to stand trial in front of the courts.

Khan told police when he was arrested that he wanted to "Check for himself" when he was tackled and arrested as he rushed to the casket. Prosecution lawyer Luke Staton, told the court, "He stepped off the carpet in the direction of the catafalque, then grabbed hold of the Royal Standard flag draped over the coffin with both of his hands."

Over 250,000 people filed through Westminster Hall to pay respects and many where shocked by his outburst. Khan is persistent that the Queen is alive and the court records indicate that he plans on seeking the truth for "As long as I'm living."

Several onlookers had a lot to say about the scary moment.

Khan has been released on bail with a promise to remain in a mental hospital until trial and get help.
