TODAY’S TOPICS:

Is there anything more annoying than getting a rude work e-mail? A new study out of the University of Illinois - Chicago found that rude work emails can cause lasting stress to workers –affecting their sleep, health and relationships.

Study authors identified two main types of rude work emails:active email rudeness, where people make demeaning or disrespectful comments, and passive email rudeness -- where emails just aren’t answered or are brief and evasive. No surprise – the active rude emails caused negative emotions in the recipients, while the passive rude emails left people feeling anxious and led to sleep problems.

Relationship goals …A Nebraska couple recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary … by taking photos in their original wedding clothes. Lucille and Marvin Stone of Kearney, Nebraska, got married on August 21st, 1960, and to celebrate their 60th, Lucille contacted photographer Katie Autry with the idea of a wedding photo shoot in the original gown she wore – and made by hand, by the way – and her husband, Marvin, in the suit he wore all those years ago. The photos wound up getting thousands of shares onFacebook. The secret to their lasting marriage? According to the Stones, just “work hard and be kind to one another.” (GMA)

Tatted teacher …A 35-year-old kindergarten teacher in France lost his job last year because parents complained his appearance was scaring their kids. Sylvain Helaine is pretty much covered head to toe in tattoos – including the whites of his eyes, which he had surgically turned black. Sylvain says tattoos are his passion and he's spent close to 460 hours getting ink. He says he was really disappointed by the school’s decision to let him go and said despite his unusual appearance, he’s never had any issues when it came to his teaching. "All of my students and their parents were always cool with me because basically, they knew me," he said. "It's only when people see me from far away that they can assume the worst."Thoughts?
