Billy Ray Cyrus shared a tribute to daughters Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus on Tuesday (March 25).

“Holy sh*t,” he wrote in his caption on Instagram. “I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one! You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his a** kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters [Miley Cyrus] [Noa Cyrus]. Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level. Congratulations girls! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy ! 😊 Love Dad.”

Billy Ray’s emotional post arrives shortly after Noah, 25, and Miley, 32, looked ahead to the next chapters in their respective musical careers. Noah released “Don’t Put It All On Me,” a collaboration with Fleet Foxes, on March 19. Miley announced her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, will arrive on May 30. Neither Miley nor Noah appear to have responded to Billy Ray’s post as of publication time on Tuesday afternoon.

Noah reportedly showed support for her father’s latest single, which was the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer’s first release since his “concerning” appearance at the Liberty Ball on President Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day. Billy Ray announced around that time that he would release his first full-length album since 2019 over the summer. He teamed up with son Braison Cyrus, 30, on the project.

“This is art imitating life, imitating art. It starts and ends with art. Braison is very talented and ‘25 is his year. I’m glad to be a part of it. This record is gonna be special. I’m gearing up for what will be the journey of a lifetime,” Billy Ray said of the album. Braison, who co-wrote some of the tracks with his father on the upcoming album and produced the project, said in a statement of his own: “I’ve spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have. I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has. It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it. Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor.”

Billy Ray shares Braison, Miley and Noah with ex-wife Tish Cyrus. The former couple married in 1993, and divorced in 2022 after nearly three decades of marriage. Billy Ray adopted Tish’s children Brandi Cyrus, 37, and Trace Cyrus, 35, and he is also a father to son Christopher Cody Cyrus, 32, from a previous relationship.
