See Shaboozey's Eye-Popping Red Carpet Look At 2025 Met Gala

Shaboozey added an attention-grabbing pop of color to his look as he arrived on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2025 Met Gala. Fashion’s biggest night took place on Monday evening (May 5) in New York City.

The “Tipsy (A Bar Song)” artist, who recently released a collaboration with Jelly Roll on the deluxe edition of his album, turned heads with turquoise beads paired with a black suit and hat. Shaboozey made his Met Gala debut alongside hundreds of attendees at the iconic fundraising event. Anna Wintour co-chaired the 2025 gala alongside honorary chair LeBron James, though he was unable to attend in-person because of an injury. Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams hosted the red carpet. Miley Cyrus, Doechii, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter, Nick Jonas and many other artists also posed for photos as they arrived at the gala. The dress code this year was “Tailored for You.” The theme nods to the Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which the Metropolitan Museum of Art revealed in October 2024. The exhibit is inspired by Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, a 2009 book by Monica L. Miller, according to Vogue.
